At Kata’s Crafts we stand behind the quality of our handcrafted wooden products. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

We do update this Policy from time to time so please do review this page regularly.

Our Return Policy

Return Period: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return items for a refund or exchange.

Condition Requirements:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Items must be returned in original packaging where possible
  • Custom or personalized items cannot be returned unless defective
  • Items showing normal wear from use cannot be returned

What We Accept for Returns

We accept returns for:

  • Defective products with manufacturing flaws
  • Products damaged during shipping
  • Products significantly different from description
  • Unwanted gifts (subject to condition requirements)

We do not accept returns for:

  • Natural wood characteristics (grain, color variations)
  • Minor size variations inherent in handcrafted items
  • Products damaged through misuse or normal wear
  • Custom or personalized orders (unless defective)
  • Items returned after 30 days

How to Return Items

Step 1: Contact us at hello@katascrafts.co.uk within 30 days of delivery Step 2: Include your order number and reason for return Step 3: We will provide return instructions and address Step 4: Package items securely for return shipping Step 5: Send items back at your expense (unless defective)

Refunds

Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of receiving returned items

Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Refund Amount:

  • Full refund for defective or damaged items
  • Full refund minus return shipping for other returns
  • We cover return shipping only for defective items

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • Size or style exchanges follow the same 30-day policy
  • Difference in price will be charged or refunded accordingly
  • Custom items cannot be exchanged unless defective

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us immediately at hello@katascrafts.co.uk
  • Provide photos of the damage or defect
  • We will arrange replacement or full refund
  • Return shipping will be covered by us

International Returns

  • International customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Customs duties and taxes are not refundable
  • Items must comply with customs regulations for return
